How to use a promocode for a hackathon?
If you have a promocode for our platform, here are the steps to use it:
- Sign up and log in at https://aimlapi.com/app/sign-in. Verify your email.
Navigate to Plans. Don't worry about the verification banner at the top - it will go away after the transaction.
Locate the promocode field in the top right corner, enter the code, and click Apply
You will see a green banner at the top of the page, indicating that it has been applied successfully.
- Click Upgrade on the Startup plan. You will see a notification about the active promocode here as well.
- Check the Automated top-ups toggle. Enable or disable it as needed.
- If it's enabled, the system will automatically charge you when your balance goes below the threshold set in the When credits are below field, and grant you tokens to continue using the platform without interruptions.
- If it's disabled, no additional top-ups will happen, and you will simply lose access to the platform when you run out of tokens.
- Set the purchase amount in the Purchase this amount field. $20 is the minimum, but you can go higher if you'd like. This is the amount before discount.
- Click Pay.
Enter payment details.
Even if the purchase is completely free, a valid payment method is still required in order to complete the transaction.
If your credit card declines - please register a new account.
A declined credit card uses up your promocode and the associated discount - and further plan activation attempts will no longer be free.
- Complete the transaction.
You will then see the purchased amount under the Startup plan, along with remaining tokens.
